singer/ song writer
started learning piano from 3 years old (since my mom is a piano teacher) continued till 17 years old
first of all i simply love to sing so much. i sang almost 5 hours a day when i was a student. at the same time i started writing poems.
joined up with people and sing some songs in english, spanish etc. as a soloist. once we had a show in front of 2,500 people in canada.
organized an acoustic band "u10" with my brother and did small gigs for a while. we had a self-produce-event called "acoustic bunko" and invited artists like caravan, inotomo, mamoru tanabe, etc.
i made up my mind writing songs myself
practice guitar little by little, started practicing "guitalele" at the same time. added my experience of piano and started writing songs.
regularlly had some gigs every month in tokyo area, once went oversea for a gig -to los angeles.
recorded several songs in los angeles with a support of takeshi nishimoto and taro isowa. also experienced adding my vocal to a song written by john tejada.
joined Communiti Action Program -arranged by up with people alumni association- as a soloist and song writer.
worked on rehearsals, song writing, translating songs in tucson, usa. we had about 30 people from 15 different countries.
we also had shows in wold expo 2005 in aichi. in the show, sang "the bridge between us" written by myself, tree of nations that is a theme of the show, shima-uta english-japanese mixed version as a soloist.
also did translation of english lyrics into japanese for a screen telop.(*CAP BLOG has many pics of the program)
these days i re-started writing songs in japanese, english and spanish.

my song writing is based on my parens favors- classic music from my mom and 60's-70's rock music from my dad such as the beatles.
i do not have that much knowledge about artists...
i can still say i have influence from george winston, carole king or billy joel...i am still learning.
my favorite artists in these days are eric eddi reader, joni mitchell, eric justin kaz, etc.
